Starting Point is where we help you know more about what we believe, share next steps, help you grow in your faith, and help you connect into the FCC family. Those who want to learn more about following Christ, being baptized, or becoming a member of FCC will find this gathering valuable. If you have children you can drop them off in the Clubhouse Children's area first and then come to the coffee shop. Come enjoy some coffee and learn more about FCC. If you want to learn more about baptism or membership prior to the next Starting Point, contact Misty at Misty.Rowe@fccjacksonville.org.
This 6-week study will cover Chad Young’s book, “Wrestling with Faith, Love, and Gators.” We hear people say we should love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, but what does that mean? Or more importantly, what could it look like to fall in love with God? Chad Young uses his own faith journey and humorous stories to call you to a deeper, legitimate love for God. Appetizers will be served. Cost for a book is $6. All men are invited to join at Mulligan’s on the square every Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
Men come join us for an afternoon of paintball. Cost is $25 per player. This includes all the gear you will need, gun, mask, as well as all day air and 200 paintballs. In the sport of golf, it is called a “mulligan”. In the NFL, it is a “first down”. In tennis, it is a “let”. In baseball, it is extra innings or a foul ball at the plate. The sports world is filled with rules that allow a person to begin again...a “do over”. Mulligans are great, for so many reasons! We all need that opportunity at different times in our lives. Join us on Sunday, September 10 for a new series called “Restart”.
Ladies, join us for food, fun, and fellowship while enjoying the Fall crisp air. We will be hosting the event under the pavilion at the Starlite Camper Club at Lake Jacksonville. The event will be on Friday September 8, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Each lady is asked to bring a snack to share and feel free to bring your board games, playing cards, etc. for a fun evening of laughter and fellowship together. The address for the Starlite Camper Club is 2184 South Lake Road. Worried about finding the location? We've got you covered! We will be busing those ladies that would like to catch a ride to and from the camp sight. The bus will leave the church parking lot at 5:45 P.M. Due to limited seating on the bus, you must sign up in advance by calling the church office at 243-6445 or email Autumne at email@example.com.
