South Jacksonville Celebration 2017
Our 2017 South Jacksonville Celebration is packed full of events for area residents to enjoy. The Village of South Jacksonville and First Christian Church have partnered together for the 2017 South Jacksonville Celebration!
This gives us a great opportunity for a weekend of family fun!
- Pageant held at First Christian Church, 2106 South Main
- Open to boys & girls ages 5 - 7 on the date of the pageant
- Registration is limited to the first 10 boys & first 10 girls
Participants must be residents of the Village of South Jacksonville, or attend South Jacksonville Elementary School. However, it is not mandatory to be a student at South Jacksonville Elementary as long as they live within the South school district boundaries. Deadline for entry forms is Friday, June 9. Parade route & time TBA soon! As well as forms for participants to ride in the parade. Keep checking back for more information! You do not have to be a business/group from South Jacksonville to participate in the parade!
More details about the Family Day Celebration will be coming soon! If you would like to be a vendor at the Celebration, please read the information below and complete the form. Limited space is available. No duplicate products will be allowed - first come first serve.
Facilities : Outdoor event at First Christian Church. Single space is 10 x 10. Canopies, umbrellas, or pop ups necessary for element protection (rain, snow, sun, heat) allowed. NO STAKES! Electric & water hook ups are not available. Vendors must supply their own tables, tents, etc. Sales from flatbed trailers are prohibited. The sale of firearms, live ammunition, pornographic material, used household goods nor any game of chance is strictly prohibited.
Vendors: Must have appropriate Village of South Jacksonville and Morgan County Health permits. Vendors are responsible for appropriate insurance coverage when applicable.
Time: Set up begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 and must be completed by 10:30 a.m. Vendors may remain set up until 3:00 p.m. and must immediately tear down. We encourage vendors to remain open until 3:00 p.m.
Unloading & Parking: Space is first come/first serve. Please unload & then park behind the Church in the gravel parking area.
Trash: Double bag food/drink in trash bags. Trash should be placed in receptacles provided by First Christian Church. Boxes should be broken down. Vendors are responsible for clean up of area during and after event.

Packet Pick Up: Saturday, July 29 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 2106 South Main in South Jacksonville
Parking: Available in the field South of the SJFD and on Vandalia Ave. Limited parking on Sequoia. Please watch for parking attendants to direct you to the field parking.
