KIDMO - New Curriculum
in 3D Kidzone Each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. |
We are kicking off brand new curriculum called
KIDMO.
KIDMO
will help create a new excitement for the children to be in children’s
church learning about God’s word. It is an interactive way to get them
thinking about God and how His principals apply to their lives.
Parents
- you can help your child connect with God at home by being intentional
about teaching them. Just 5 minutes everyday listening to your child and
asking them what they think about Christ will impact them for their
entire life! Children by the age of 13 are already set in their ways as
far as their moral values are concerned. We must make sure that we are
instilling faith values in our children at home as well as in church.
One
way you can do this is each week your child will receive a M. A. P.
(Mission Action Plan) BOOK. PLEASE I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH - SPEND
TIME DOING THESE M.A.P. books WITH YOUR CHILDREN! They will be rewarded
eternally for what they will learn. Each week your children will earn
points for their team when they work together with you on the
activities. Spend time reading a few verses each day, helping them dig
deep into God’s word. Sign that weeks lesson and have your child bring
it to church. Parents - please also let me know how your interaction
with your child went while working with them on their map books. It is
helpful to try and set a regular time each day to do these - like right
before or after dinner.
If
you have preschoolers they will also be doing the same type of
curriculum but it is called Lil’K. It has a Blue’s Clues feel to the
curriculum that teaches children about God. They also will have M.A.P.
books to work with you throughout the week. Faith at home is where the
children are shaped. Please, don’t hesitate to contact me with any
